Take a look at the “WorkFlow” app. It's a sort of GUI app automation program. It can make certain apps execute certain actions, in some cases as defined by a very primitive script. It's quite interesting to think where this might be heading if more apps have automation interfaces built into them, which is the kind of thing that you might already find where an app interfaces to accessibility subsystems.
I'm trying to work out how to use it to download a config file from a router or a WAP.
