Openreach don't sell TV services.

Yet the only people left with G.INP on ECI cabinets after they 'removed' the update were those with BT TV services.

Here is an update regarding ECI G.INP

A new firmware has been developed and testing will start over the summer.
If testing has good results then a rollout may happen this autumn (not next april).

Presumably that's the cabinet firmware? Weren't they also going to update the ECI modem firmware?

Great news and I am glad at least BT are trying to sort the problems.  I still wish BT speeded up the process a bit though.

ECI are probably being forced to go through complete regression tests on every cycle now. I bet they wish BT would speed up the process too. But there's no chance of that now...

That's good news!

Hopefully if the firmware comes out then ECI might catch up fast. It's like we're all waiting behind a big hurdle.. hoping we can clear it.

Wondering if there is any news (unofficial or not) as we are now officially in Autumn (at least in my way of working it out)

Same here, though I'm wondering if we'll ever see it again. G.fast might be their priority now.

Somehow I can't see the BT Group letting ECI "off the hook" without significant recompense.  :-\
