I have been fiddling with Linux for a lot of years and usually have my work laptop setup to dual boot into Ubuntu so I can pretend its not a work laptop and to keep personal stuff separate
.
When Ubuntu crapped itself due to my dodgey drive caddy (happens sometimes) instead of just reinstalling Ubuntu I thought I would man-up be a smart arse and install
Arch Linux, cos thats what all the awesome geeks do ... isn't it.
Context : go to Google and type in the search window "Why is Arch Linux "
I decided to install in Virtualbox to give it a try first, 4 evenings later I finally got the gnome desktop to fire up for the first time
All I am saying is after all this crap, it had better be good ........ YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BEAT ME ARCHLINUX <bangs table>
Anyway, their website needs fixing :
Just sayin'
