hi all,
I'm just a new on the forum.
I've just changed provider (for italian Vodafone to italian TIM) and I was trying to use my "old" Vodafone Station as VPN router at home (LAN-WAN connection to the new provider's router) and I realised that the WAN port is not working. I would like to keep the router for his VPN capabilities so I'm looking for any suggestion to unlock it and get rid of the vodafone firmware.

There's quite a few threads on the subject. At the moment this device can't be unlocked, despite numerous attempts by a number of users. I recommend using the search function and searching for HHG2500. There's Hi-Res images of the units internal circuitry in 1 of the threads.

In short, nobody has managed to unlock this device. No progress has been made in trying. Only 1 UK ISP uses thus device so it will likely remain locked.

also activating WAN port is no-go as far as you know?
I've seen the other posts but technical level is too high 4 me.
