and then you change the VF router to same bt test account credentials, which then fails, gives you a better chance to prove it's the VF router at fault

Not sure if you know there is no way to enter any account credentials in VF's router GUI it does not have the parameters for this it not like a HH3 or HH5 when you had the username and password prompts it is not there

Many thanks, sorry I didn't realise

However, the test may still be of some help, if it works as you can prove using the test account on a different router, does not disconnect or give errors, so your connection to the fttc cab/backhaul is fine on BT, ergo on VF, shows disconnects and errors

Of course, the bt test account may not work so I apologise in advance

Since a DLM reset on monday hooked up the 8800NL to look at the stats what I find strange is the Interleaved depth is 19 down and 8 up and INP is zero on both does it look odd to you ?

That looks about right to me.

The interleaving and INP figures just represent the fact that G.INP isn't enabled.  It doesn't immediately get applied after a DLM reset.

G.INP took about a week after my DLM reset to re-enable.  And your attainables look decent enough for non-G.INP and your attenuation (a few dB more than mine)

Just haven't ever seen that low level of interleaving before on this line anyway looks like I am on the full interleaving sync rate down to 32Mbps and still the disconnection continue, the sooner I can rid of the vodafone modem the better and yes keeping a close eye on the other HHG2500 thread.

Had 15 disconnections yesterday and in anger connected the 8800NL to the line for 11 hours and not one drop the line stats are very good SNRM steady no spikes of CRC and ES and so on.

Conclusion the modem/router (HHG2500) is 100% the reason behind these disconnects and I just don't understand why it's doing this
