Driving reaction times

Have fun with this reaction test to stopping a car. The powers will compute your age based on how quickly you stop.

Hi

Computed age 24 years old.

I could double that age with lots to spare haha

Many thanks

'35 year old', not bad for a child of the 1950s.   Especially as this particular child has also consumed several glasses of beer and one of red wine this evening (hasten to add, car safely tucked up in garage long before that indulgence).    ;D

But tbh, I have played with various reaction testers in the past.   They all tend to yield consistent results for any given tester, time after time, yet no two testers are consistent with one another.   I rather suspect that the main thing being tested is the computer hardware, and whether it is suitable/optimal for the given test method.

That said, my '35 year old' was on my an ancient iPad 2.   If I did it again on a decent PC, might I be a teenager again?

Curious - try as I might I couldn't really get better than 500+ milliseconds in Chrome. In Edge browsers - 350ms almost every time.

I use a wireless mouse  :-\ managed to get down to 35ms, I suspect a bit of input lag ;)
We won't talk about how my other half got on and what age it gave her
