Reminds me of when there was a pericam on Exeter Cathedral. A friend of mine, from another messageboard, went along and opened her red umbrella at a pre-arranged time so we could all see her.

Oh wow.. talk about timing. I opened the web camera to have a look. At first mum was just sat there.. then I saw her glance to the right as dad brought some food in.
She then took the food from dad - moved off the nest to tear strips off to feed the chick.
I think I may have just captured what I believe to be some of the first pictures of the chick and it being fed.

Wow, brilliant timing, Kitz.
Mum was looking a bit tetchy when I last looked. I guess she'd sent dad out to the shops and she was thinking, I bet he's coming back via the pub.

I think there may have been another hatching. Mum seemed to be moving about a lot and now there is, what looks like, a new piece of shell.

I think youre right Astral, theres definitely another empty shell.
She seems a tad "agitated at the mo" and shes moving around a lot... but you can clearly see the new shell..
and a wonderful closeup I just managed to grab, which shows how beautiful these creatures are.
