New Smart Phone?
« on: December 14, 2016, 01:45:11 AM »

I have a Samsung ON5 which keeps playing up. Have done a factory reset and seems OK at the moment, but thinking of changing to this one now :-\.....

I'm afraid I know little about them.   It's years since I purchased a Motorola product so it wont be relevant.

The only thing I will say about one I did buy was for my daughter and practically indestructible.
A true tale is mum catching a certain teenage daughter and her friend  (they both had the same model) dropping them out of the bedroom window to see if they would break - they didnt!   Both girls would have had to wait anyhow until Christmas to get the Nokia's that they wanted.

The Moto E is a good phone, although to be honest if you can afford it I would go for the Moto G4, as it just received its update to Android 7 Nougat and as such is one of the most up to date budget phones out there.

Thanks for the replies.
My phone seems to be working OK now, after a factory reset.
So I'll stick with it for now, and maybe get the G4 when funds allow.
