Cancelled FTTC, 1 week later have sync?
« on: December 06, 2016, 09:32:54 PM »

I was with Talktalk fibre large, and I migrated to BT on the 18th November.
For reasons I don't need to go into I had BT cancel my service completely. DSL sync disappeared on 29th November.
Then about an hour I noticed my Zyxel had an orange DSL sync light on. I changed the ISP login details to Talktalks to see if i was going mad and suddenly I'm assigned an I.P
Looks like I'm connected to fibre medium. Logging into my Talktalk account it correctly shows as closed.
WTF could be happening?

edit: just connected the house phone and the landline number is not mine.

There has been a jumpering mishap in the PCP. Just report it to your telephony service provider (and hope that the person who has got your circuit does not regularly call an aged aunt in Australia).
