I should have realised before that G.dmt means that it's ADSL(1), not ADSL2. So I can only assume that your router is reporting it wrongly.

That's a pretty fair speed for your rather long line.

yeah im very happy with the speed, after being stuck at 512 for 3 years

oh well ill keep an eye on it. but it hasn't changed sync speed since i turned sra off, and it was doing it a lot before. but i'm really not wishing to risk the sync speed and turn it on to see if it changes anything

Are you loging rule in the router fire wall settings?

I found if you log to much it uses up the memory and freezes just like a computer can and a reboot fixes it.

I get these figures from routerstats

I thought it was just a quirk of the router to report these ??
