But were they using BTWholesale naming, or Openreach naming?

BTWholesale Standard = Openreach Speed

I'll have to double check again, I'm certainly happy if I'm on the speed profile, and I don't doubt anyone's knowledge here. Only going by what I was told as it was a concern of mine.

I questioned it and was talk it was the standard profile and they have no control over it.

Thank you,

Josh

They do provision on the Speed profile. As ejs stated they use BT Wholesale terminology, and call it Standard.

BT Wholesale 'Standard' = Openreach 'Speed'
BT Wholesale 'Stable' = Openreach 'Standard'
BT Wholesale 'Super Stable' = Openreach 'Stable'

Thank you for confirming this for me, I'll just wait it out and see what happens after a couple of week. If nothing improves I will look into getting a new modem. I'm thinking it's likely crosstalk.

I'm looking into monitoring the stats 24/7 as it should give me an idea on what's going wrong. The only problem is my laptop recently packed in so i'll be ordering a new longer cat5 cable to go straight into the desktop.

Fastpath has returned this morning. Exactly 10 days after interleaving. It would appear I am on the fast DLM profile as said.

Lets hope it sticks this time.  :fingers:

I also am on an ECI cab, and my line (425m long, 16.4dB attenuation) kept getting interleaved until I matched chipsets. I used a Billion 8800NL for ages which is now known to cause high error rates on ECI cabs.  Now I use the standard BT Home Hub 5A and my line stays on fastpath.

I'll keep that in mind if my line interleaves again, thanks for letting me know you had success matching up the chips.
