Looking for a new iPad - tips?

(1/1)

Weaver:
I'm thinking about getting a new iPad (probably a larger screen iPad Pro) to replace my iPad 5. I don't know if it would be better to wait until next year, given the state of the rumour mill concerning new iPad model releases?

Does anyone know of anywhere reputable that is doing good deals?

I've never had much success finding significant discounts, but John Lewis have offer a small advantage of longer warranty of two years, or at least they used to.

You need to make friends with an Apple employee. They get 17%

Currys sometimes do ipad discounts.   Watch out for their Black Friday events (Nov).

I got £100 off a my galaxy tab last year in their black friday event.  iirc their discounts on ipads weren't as good (£20-30), but its better than nothing.

Apple also do their own Black Friday events.  Its a while ago now so I cant remember but Im sure we got £30 off an ipad Air2 for dad in Nov 2014.
