Jeremy Corbyn, the USO and Megabytes and Bits
« on: September 30, 2016, 01:56:55 PM »

Speech by Jeremy Corbyn gets bytes and bits mixed up re the proposed USO
        http://www.thinkbroadband.com/news/7519-jeremy-corbyn-accusses-government-of-doing-nothing-over-uso.html

(And ISPReview can't spell ‘accuses’ either. Or perhaps he was cussing the government.)

I'll take the bytes over the bits any time.

Aye... I bet there would be plenty who would be happy if the USO was 80Mbps :D

I suspect Openreach wouldn't be one of them. Would put a dent in the dividend bonanza not being able to sweat the relatively minimal FTTC investment harder.
