Cabinet notation scheme
«

I have been monitoring the rollout of FTTC services to my area and have noticed something slightly odd. On CodeLook, existing cabinets are marked using Px (x being the number), while some cabinets with the notation E_x have appeared. I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me as to what this means? I was thinking it might be for exchange only lines, which there are around 200-400 in my area. Exchange code is SLKIV.

The E codes are indeed "placemarkers" for former exchange lines groupings to be converted to new cabinets.
