The main program I use is called "AutoGK" (Auto GordianKnot)
Main site
http://www.autogk.me.ukDL v2.45 stable
http://www.autogk.me.uk/index.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=1 Very simple and easy to use, obviously you will need to select your preferred output folder and PAL or NTSC settings, which you can always change again at a later date if you wanted to say for arguments sake convert a movie to send to the States (USA or Canada).
Possibly not the one of the quickest but very good and reliable.
1. Just select the "FIRST" Vob (or IFO) file (for me the IFO never seems to work, so I chose the VOB option).
2. Select the output folder and name the saved file.
3. Select the size of the file to be created.
3a Predefined, (1 CD = ) (2 CDs = Splits the file into 2 files )
3b Custom,
Select 1401, this will create a file larger than 1400MB and keep the best quality, usually around 1.4GB.
4. Select, Add Job.
5. Click Start.
As simple as that.
Go away and have a rest for 2 - 3 hours, but this time obviously depends on your PC spec.
