So a false flag they sent out.

I am going to try the older tapatalk client from my backup later to see how many sites it still works on.

Normally I have to take the forums offline and it takes ages.... and most of the time something will go wrong.  (Its not a plugin supported by SMF)
Had everything prepared, did a trial run.. said everything was OK, so went for it without taking the forum down.   All done.  :)

I dont think so,  it wasnt working properly until I did.   I could see something weird also from GigabitEthernet, there was a notification but had no clue what it was and couldnt view content.  After the update I can see its related to chat.

seems so, I have not noticed any issues.

even a very old version from start of 2015 works, but I then put on 5.8.5 which seems the last version I got before they implemented this mess. 5.8.5 is from june 2016.

Spoke too soon.   Update is throwing 10's of thousands of errors to the forum since I upgraded  >:(

Thanks john.    Ive just cleared out all the error logs - there was so many it was difficult to track which error belonged to which post.

I couldnt see that your post throwed an error.   Can you please post again... and confirm that you are using the latest iOS version of tapatalk.

Now the logs are clear I should be able to see everything much better.
