iirc version 7.

However, last I heard is that one of the auto-updates for the HH stopped DMT tool from working properly and the only way some users could get it to work was by rolling back the firmware.

Okay guys - my Home Hub autoupdated to 6.2.2.6 all by itself, and i was almightily annoyed that i could no longer use DMT, so here’s now i managed to go back to 6.1.1R

First, get the CD that came with your home hub, and in Explorer, go to this folder in the tree: Utils\UpgradeWizard\UpgradeBT

Copy everything there EXCEPT the .config file to your desktop.

Run the firmware flasher and this will take you to the 6.1.1M firmware version.

Now, once that’s reflashed and you’re sitting comfortably at 6.1.1M, telnet into the home hub and in the CLI type the following:

software upgrade yes

The home hub will auto update to the next version of the firmware in about 10 minutes - and when it’s done, it’s then sitting at 6.1.1R

Now, this is where you want to stay, so i suggest you disable the periodic updates and indeed the whole cwmp daemon.

Telnet back into the home hub again and type this EXACTLY:

cwmp config state=disabled
cwmp config periodicInform=disabled

once thats done - the home hub will never again try and auto-update. Any firmware upgrades will be upto you. DMT will now continue working as before

Hah! Take that BT!
