Not seen by me before
« on: August 08, 2016, 06:59:00 PM »

...as far as can recall. I'm wondering why they are being seen. I've also noticed error logs are being duplicated.
Code: [Select]
Timeout while collecting firmware version
08 Aug 2016 10:32:49 Telnet timeout

Timeout while collecting system uptime
08 Aug 2016 14:40:49 Telnet timeout

08 Aug 2016 14:41:45 Unable to collect stats 3 or more times in succession

As those messages suggest, it's been taking too long to collect the data from the modem. The actual point in the process where the timeout time is passed can vary, so you get slightly different messages.

The most probable causes are either poor communication between the PC running DSLstats and the modem (using a WiFi link for example) or the modem is misbehaving in some way. That second cause may be because the modem has been running for a long time and has run out of internal memory, or something like that; a reboot should fix this sort of problem.

If seen again, I'll reboot. How long is the long time piece of string of the modem?:)

It's a total of six seconds for the login and collection of data.
