Let the toy train take the strain.

I picked this up from a transport blog. It's a lovely story, don't you think? However what it says of the council may be somewhat less printable.

It is indeed a lovely story, right down to the volunteers taking time off work to run it for that week.

Cant believe the council totally closing the road though cutting off access to doctors and shops.   Surely a plan could have been conceived to do resurface half of each side of the road at a time.. although I suppose we dont know how narrow the road was.   

Locals are lucky that there was the train and track for volunteers to be able to use that.

It is indeed.... just goes to show how stupid local councils can often be and have no thought at all for local communities.
