Cat6 patch leads in a ca5e infastructure..

Hi

Just I hope a simple question with regards to compatability between cat5e face plates and cat6 patch leads...

So I was given some cat6 patch leads but my infastructure is all cat5e. Can I use the cat6 patch leads at all in my cat5e network or is this a no no.
