Burst of CRC errors
« on: June 08, 2016, 02:10:18 PM »

Just popped onto MyDSLWebStats to be greeted with what seems to be a sudden burst of downstream CRC errors. I've attached a screenshot of the hourly and 24 hour graphs.

Is there any way to find the source of this, or at least something in MyDSLWebStats to point me in the right direction?

Had another burst of errors last night and DLM has stepped in which is slightly annoying...

very strange, as you didn't have anywhere near enough ES for DLM to take action

I'm slightly puzzled as to what caused the DLM to put me onto an interleaved line, unless it really doesn't like CRC error bursts at all. The CRC spike is also confusing as nothing has changed in my setup for a long time, I can confirm that nearby thunderstorms do cause errors but nothing as bad as what I saw on the 20th.

As far as I can see everything is fine now looking at MDWS (apart from the interleaving), so is it just waiting for DLM to decide that interleaving isn't needed anymore?

Yes, that would be correct. As for how long you might need to wait, I would not like to guess. Other members may be willing to offer their opinions . . .
