Bt management link help
« on: May 25, 2016, 03:28:15 PM »

Hey new user here.. I was hoping someone who works for an isp or has done could explain how a management link works in a Bt exchange. So say you have an exchange then you have multiple adsl sites and a management link running through it. I think it's a bt wholesale product.. Any help if anyone knows what I mean would be great!

I don't and haven't worked for an ISP, but I've never heard of the specific term "management link", and the term sounds far too generic for anyone to know what you're talking about. I'm not even sure what you mean by "running through it", from where to where?

Welcome to the forum.
Re "management link" is this something to do with Emergency calls eg 999 to lock some part of the system to trace a call ?.
May be you could explain what you mean better.
