WiFi Laptop Wlan Settings For Countries Around The World.

I was asked by someone who is going on business trips to USA, Japan and India (with out coming back to the uk in-between ) lucky person   
 about changing his laptop settings for those places for his WiFi to work ?.
Or will it just work ?.
Also ask about his phone on WiFi. (He knows about what to do with his Mobile data settings.)

That's what I was thinking .

Same with his phone ?.

Does it matter that some countries has stronger WiFi power levels !, should the laptop power for the wireless card be changed to match. ?.

Mine just works and I've never made any changes

Some mobiles might not work in some parts of the world,  so might be worth checking their mobile supports the mobile  frequencies used in the respective countries. If its a top end recent model it'll probably be fine though.
