B-FOCuS V-2FUb/r Rev.B bootloop after bad unlock flash
« on: May 07, 2016, 11:05:49 AM »

Hello,
I was trying to unlock B-FOCuS V-2FUb/r Rev.B modem flashing the latest OpenWRT image version.
Something went wrong with the process which left me with a boot loop of the following outputs from bootloader:

VG3503J 1-A-DC BootLoader v2.00.02 (Dec  4 2012 - 14:02:34)

CLOCK CPU 333M RAM 166M
DRAM:  32 MiB
Flash: 8 MiB
In:    serial
Out:   serial
Err:   serial
Net:   Internal phy(GE) firmware version: 0x0405
vr9 Switch
Using vr9 Switch device
ping failed; host 1.1.1.1 is not alive
## Starting application at 0x80002000 ...

ROM VER: 1.1.4
CFG 01

I guess that the OS was erased and the bootloader has nothing to load.. Is there any method to load a new image on this state or is it a bricked device?

Thanks for helping

If you can interrupt the bootloader before it tries to boot something, by pressing Ctrl+C according to the flashing instructions, and get to the bootloader prompt where you can enter commands, then there's no problem, you can have another try at flashing the firmware.
