No there wasn't previously, it was perhaps elsewhere... but your mention of it made me look to see if it was possible to do so.
In future multiple nested quotes will automatically be removed :)

However can people please still take note of the following as mods are still having to clean up unnecessary quotes.

A guideline is that if you are directly replying to the post above then you shouldn't need to use quotes.
Quotes are useful if you are responding to a particular post that may be several posts above.
