Just had a short 2 minute power cut(I have a UPS), unfortunately i dint re-sync my modem in time.

But got some interesting stats, if only it stayed that way 

Bit crazy how crosstalk knocks a line from 119.98mbps attainable to 65.43mbps.

Hi

I'm in the middle of a power cut with a UPS, the problem is affecting my whole local area (almost 2000 premises). 

I'm probably the only one connected to the VDSL cabinet currently.

Usually sync at max 80/20 with an SNR on the downstream of 8.5db, now without any crosstalk I'm at 19.5db SNR, with an attainable rate of 125/35.

So cross talk on my line is an 11db hit.

I had a power cut a few weeks ago, and my upstream speed shot up to about 36-37mb and have stayed there ever since. Some stat below:-

A very good demonstration of the power of crosstalk!

MDWS says you did resync at the time - the uptime graph resets. Was that automatic?

It was noticeable that you had had the constant level of upstream FECs shortly before the power cut, but lost them afterwards. And that, post-cut, your line now show the upstream-FECs between 9pm and 10pm feature.

I tried to resync to get the top speed, too slow though

 

I've had the FEC problem since I got G.INP, I think its a 0xb204 problem.

I've attached a graph for around the time G.INp was activated(6th March 4am in my case)
