Vista beats Leopard in pwn2own at CanSecWest :

Looks like the fully patched OSs (Leopard, Vista, Ubuntu 7.10) had everyone beaten but Day 2 allowed attacks on browsers, mail clients etc and good old Safari rolled over (again) leading to an owned MacBook Air.

The winner said that he chose Apple over the other machines because "I thought of the three it was the easiest".

Vista falls on Day3.

Ubuntu is probably vulnerable too as its a Flash exploit but for now the final "scores" look like :

Day 1 - no takers;
Day 2 - MacBook owned in slightly under 2 minutes via a Safari exploit;
Day 3 - Vista owned in a bit over 4 hours via a Flash exploit

Ubuntu still standing.....
