Author Topic: MyDSLWebStats - any way to get a screenshot of the line status data block  (Read 2142 times)

Hi,
I'm referring to the block of data with MTBE etc, that you see when you hover the mouse over the traffic lights at the top left.   Is there a way to get that data block to stay on screen, so that it would appear on a screen shot?

Thanks, Tony S

If you click on it, it opens in a pop-up (not in original graph-size mode though)

Cheers, I wonder if that's a browser issue.  On mine clicking does nothing if the block isn't displayed, if the block is displayed then clicking causes it to close the same as if the mouse pointer was moved away.   Same behaviour with both Safari and Firefox.

Try right clicking and selecting open in new tab (or window)

That closes the data block as soon as I click, and the image that's saved or displayed is just the traffic light.

I wonder if its a supporter/non supporter version thing.

Edit: It would appear ir is. If I select your stats the traffic lights are just an image, if I select mine they are a link.

That makes sense. I had been hoping this monitoring would only be a short term requirement, but now that doesn't seem to be the case I should really subscribe in any case.

NB This post belongs in the MDWS thread....

It doesn't work when the traffic lights are clicked/selected because the OP is on ADSL (G) and clicking it it only works and gives the larger and more detailed popup on VDSL2+ connections....

There is more info from when it was added back in September:

Being mouse hover data only, it is transitory.

You are running windows so if you install Lightshot (link below and it's free, also a Mac version) you can grab the download as per the attached. Hitting Prt Scr overlays the screen and locks it allowing you to select and save what you want without destroying the hover data. I use it all the time.
