I was wondering if anyone had experience using the Dreytek 2860 (ac) on a Huawei Cabinet.

I currently use a Billion 8800NL and I am considering changing.

I would like to achieve the highest possible sync rate so would moving away from a modem with BCM impact on the sync rate.

I am also considering the Netgear D7800 (again not a BCM chipset).

I was not aware that a draytek 2860 had a vci modem, so I think it does not

I can check with our 2860 though, just not right now and we use draytek, various models at different locations to heweui at full speed 80/20

We have all ours connected to hg612, but it's good to know incase they go down. Perhaps as a fall back.

Also, we use dslstats on the 612

The VPN work very well, especially in trunk mode, but you need more then 1 connection for broadband for trunk to work as expected.
