I have now taken possession of one of the units and so far it has proved very good.I had to stop it timing out after 5 mins, and had a bit of greif with the firewall but now all sorted.I have upgraded the firmware to the latest version aal13  just having a look around the xdl file and I notice that vectoring is showing as disable / disabled ? pretty sure this had some numbers after it on the previous version aal 7

Does this indicate that it is disabled, it needs enabling, or is now deemed not necessary ? if I am to enable it some where, could someone please guide me as to where do I do it from ?, the line speed has dropped a few meg btw line stats now show max dwn  at 74 previous 79 however upload has increased from  14 to 17

Its possibly auto disabled as the DSLAMs dont currently support vectoring.

Im still using aakl 6b1  f/w version and status isnt even shown

Thanks kitz, in this version of the firmware it's under network settings >broadband> advanced    PhyR  US   disabled   PhyR  DS enabled.
Obviously in anticipation of vectoring being implemented.

I dont recall see anything in my web GUI that says anything about g.vector / G.993.5 although the router is supposed to support it.

I know there is PhyR  & SRA from within the GUI, but the former is more to do with broadcoms proprietary version of g.INP. 

Sorry, When I said it may be under something like adsl --configure, I meant via the telnet CLI, which is where I hadnt checked.
