since theres not really anywhere atm, where people can just say hi or anything.

A big hi to "cockle" whose a friend of mine going back a few years...
He's may be too shy to post in what he probably considers a techy forum.
But thanks to him doing some detective work and tracking me down to here..  he put me back in contact with my best mate from many years ago, who'd been trying to contact me. 
Unfortunately we'd lost contact when she moved to Germany about 5 years ago.

So thanks mal..   you'll be pleased to know we spent at least 4 hours "catching up" on the goss last week
