I did reboot my router.

I noticed that it would connect for about 30 seconds then disconnect. Mostly disconnected. Then reconnected and stayed online.

Then for a few hours some sites weren't accessable. kitz wasn't yet thinkbroadband was. Some websites would mostly load up after leaving it for a long time.

My PSN (playstation) connection didn't work either. I think whatever site they use to check the connection wasn't contactable. Now its back working.

I didn't lose sync to the cabinet at all.

I didn't lose sync to the cabinet at all.

Being the physical link layer for the VDSL2 service, that would not have been affected by today's incident.

My own fault. Ah well. I should know better. Anyway.

I will be interested in the coming weeks to find out exactly what went so badly wrong. I saw some reports on twitter of traffic lights not working correctly because of the issue. True or not I think it could end up costing BT Group a few bob!
