Good Morning,

I am looking for some advice and I came across this site after using DSL stats on my netgear D7000.

The crux of the issue is that my speeds have dropped significantly since I started with Pulse8 and it looks to me like DLM has put a cap on the line of 18 down and 18 up (I have run multiple speed tests over wired and wireless and it hits 18 and then abruptly stops almost as if there is an artificial limit applied)

Been with Pulse8 for 2 weeks and the speeds where static 60 down 18 up and around 3 days ago I brought a much higher quality RJ11 cable from Tandy which has improved the sync so my line has only realistically been up for 3 days or so.

Was with VM for a while but left them due to nasty peak utilisation issues and prior to that I was with BT infinity which synced at a permanent 76 down 18 up.

I can't tell you much but the problem is not your connection speed between the modem and cabinet as that is the following.

Bearer 0 shows your actual connection speed, so I suspect it's something to do with your ISP or possibly your modem(QOS)/software somewhere is limiting your speed. You do appear to have some heavy interleaving applied to your line, but that won't be the cause of the slow speeds.

Have you tried a speed test from a different PC?

Got my wife to do a quick speedtest from her S6 Edge and it hit 18 down 18 up over wireless and just checked QOS is turned off on my D7000 router.

My wife has a Lenovo windows tablet so will grab that tonight and do a speedtest from there over a wired connection to rule out an issue with my desktop pc.

Think I fixed it looks like my powerline adapters went bonkers and disconnecting the cat6 Ethernet cable and reconnecting it has resolved it.

The odd thing is that they are both synced at 255mbits but hey happy the issue is hopefully now resolved.
