* I'm on ADSL2 (not ADSL2+) ( - thanks to Burakkucat for the tip )

* Long lines, 4.55 mi / 7.32

* Three lines, IP-bonded together - see http://aa.net.uk/kb-broadband-bonding.html

* IPv6 (native, delivered by PPP)

FTTC/VDSL2
450m approx to cabinet
Currently on 'silly'* sync of 78.8 down / 20 up
No bonding
Had IPv6 working fine during Plusnet trial, currently single fixed IPv4 only.

*'Silly' sync happened after a power cut nearly 2 weeks ago, a more normal figure would be around 72 down but I've managed to hold the 78.8 with SNR at 4dB, occasionally dropping to 3 without excessive reported ES/SES thanks, I believe, to G.INP (active both up and down on my line) using Fritz!Box 7490 (Lantiq VRX288) to Huawei (Broadcom) cabinet.

...and another:

ADSL2+
Distance as the cable runs 2.1Km, made up of 2.0Km exchange to Cabinet and then 100m of D-Side to the property: all underground bar the final run up the pole outside house and drop wire.

Current Stats:
Downstream
Sync: 14568 Kbps
Att'n: 36.0 dB
SNRmargin 3.4 dB (on a 3.0 target as it has been since ADSL2+ arrived in 2011)

Upstream
Sync: 888kbps - capped at this due to interleaving
Att'n: 14.6 dB
SNRmargin:  12.3  dB

Single BT type line, single dynamic IPv4 address

Superfast/FTTC not available and area not included under the BDUK program.
Virgin not available: - its a village, not really Virgin's territory!

Currently on FTTC
Line around 500m from the cabinet and has a 16.1 Attn
Currently on 40000kbps/9999kbps service though the attainable sync is currently 59048Kbps/20752Kbps (varies - you can check my stats on MDWS)
Single dynamic IP4 address.

The line used to be ADSL2+ and ADSL before that. At around 3.5Km from the exchange I used to get roughly:

ADSL2+: 6000/1200kbps (attn 43dB)
ADSL: 4500/288kbps (attn: 41dB)

Previously ADSL then ADSL2 when 21CN introduced. Approx 5km line, 53dB line attenuation, finally coaxed to 3.5Mbps.

Currently FTTC, Huawei cabinet, HG612 modem G.INP active. Line attenuation 20.4dB, attainable 47.5Mbps DS, 10.27Mbps US, actual 39.999Mbps DS, 9.57Mbps US. SNRM 9.6dB DS,  5.9dB US.

Re FTTP...
I'm currently posting this message from a Gigaclear FTTP line.
There is really nothing to say - this particular line is on their 100/100Mbps package and that is what you get 24/7.
Interestingly any speed test using a UK based server seems unable to correctly handle upload speeds of this magnitude. You need to find a test server in Holland which has a lot of FTTP to get a more representative result - but then the answer is always around 100Mbps so there is no need to even bother.
Pings to google.com are 5ms.

Obviously there are no line stats and the Optical line termination/router unit (a Genexis Hybrid with 4 off 1Gbps ports made in, yes, Holland again) is totally locked down to the user apart from the wireless settings and port forward stuff plus some parental controls.....So the router GUI is pretty sparse!

FTTC + VDSL2
100m to cabinet, but I think it is 0.4mm copper, behaving like a 150m+ line.
Attenuation 8.6dB; running at 80/20; attainable 107/32
No bonding
Static IPV4

If I reverted back to exchange-based DSL, I'd have:
ADSL2+
2km to exchange
Speeds of 12/1.

FTTC + VDSL2
~ 105m to cabinet outside exchange.
Sync 79999/19999, attainable 136836/42684
G.INP downstream active (line has always been somewhat noisy, with very disappointing ADSL2+Annex M performance).
