« on: December 25, 2015, 02:36:57 PM »

I have found that cortana is using a lot of my memory & as I don't use it I have been trying to remove it but finding it difficult. Has anyone got a solution please?

I'm sure that someone will eventually be able to advise you but, as I don't use anything originating from M$, I wonder if you will get a sensible response if you asked Cortana "How to disable or remove Cortana?"  ;)

Unfortunately turning it off doesn't stop it hogging the RAM. I have since learned that it cannot be removed & there are lots of complaints about this. Something else we have to put up with!

I know the "damn" thing keeps forgetting how to search the computer. I end up having to end the process in task manager to get it working again.
