A lot of lost opportunities there. I felt that for certain sections of the battle the two sides were using terms without being understood by the opposition, leaving furrowed eyebrows and frustration.

Pretty much nothing was achieved, I feel.

I haven't got enough time to listen in too much detail. From what I did hear she did quite well, but wonder how much of the committee's misunderstanding was genuine as opposed to "political".

Misunderstanding was definitely genuine. It was because she didn't explain some of the terms she was using. Meanwhile the MPs were, I suspect, causing confusion by mixing up cases that should have been kept separate and by using words imprecisely or in a way that showed their lack of true understanding. Some of the MPs were really clued up, a couple not so.
