Zyxel VGM8324 wi-fi issues?
« on: December 05, 2015, 02:24:12 PM »

Hey all,

I've been having some new and really annoying issues with my 8324. It's been serving me well, but for the last few days, I've noticed that my connection starts to go haywire when a wireless device connects. I start having DNS problems initially, and from time to time, the connection outright drops out. I've got some homeplugs too which seem to work fine with their ethernet connections. One of the homeplugs is also a wi-fi AP. Connect to that and sure enough, it all goes to pot/

I've done a few factory resets and tried a few different f/w versions (on 7C0 right now) but the same keeps happening.

I'm completely lost as to what the hell is actually going on   ???

In what way does the connection go haywire?

Either I start to get DNS problems (DNS_probe_finished_no_internet) or the routers connection drops all together

The connection that drops - is that the PPPoE connection to the ISP? Or the DSL sync with the cabinet?
