Is there anyway of unlocking the talktalk super router to use with BT as I absolutely hate the hh5, if not can anyone recommend me a good router,  was looking at the tp link
Extended UPnP security shall I disable it

To be honest the TalkTalk Super Router I used all for 5 minutes.

I currently use a ZyXEL VMG8924-B10A on my TT connection and used a VMG8324-B10A previously - the only difference between them is the 8924 has 5ghz wi-fi. I use my TT HG635 as a wireless access point to better cover the house.

The TalkTalk HG635 router is not locked, you just need to reconfigure it for your BT connection.
As a guide this is how to configure it for a Plusnet fibre connection, AFAIK the BT connection is not too dissimilar.

The only difference for BT rather than Plusnet is the Internet Account should be bthomehub@btbroadband.com and the Internet Password can be anything.

thanks for the responses guys, am gonna give it a go as this HHb5 is doing my nut in and with the super i got a much higher sync, if possible and i get stuck would anyone mind making me a config file i could just backup onto my router .. thanks in advance ..
