Is there some sort of issue with compatibility or anything that has changed with version 5.6?
Due to testing the TPLink I'd not updated to 5.6 until now. Tonight I put the Zyxel back on and updated to 5.6
Im not sure why but I seem to be having problems logging stats since. Either DSLstats will collect totals or HG612 will collect data.
You can see from the attached screenie that MDWS looks like some sort of morse code.
DSL stats is producing lots of these:
12 Sep 2015 19:54:50 Option "HG612-Modem-Stats co-operation" was set
12 Sep 2015 19:54:50 Snapshot folder is C:\Users\kitz\Desktop\Connection\dslstats\logs\
12 Sep 2015 19:54:53 Recording started
12 Sep 2015 19:55:37 Unable to login to modem/router
12 Sep 2015 19:59:37 Unable to login to modem/router
12 Sep 2015 20:00:37 Unable to login to modem/router
Things Ive tried so far
Restarting DSLstats several times
Restarting HG612 modem stats.
Checking that I only have one instance of HG612stats in Task Scheduler.
Checking that there isnt a stuck instance of HG612stats in Task Manager.
Restarting the PC
Rebooting the Router.
Manually trying to telnet into the router immediately after DSLstats says it cant, works fine.
I have not updated any f/w in the Zyxel router and didnt have this issue previously.
Not sure if its a co-incidence that Ive not uploaded to MDWS for several weeks, or if its the new version of DSLstats, or if its just one of those things
