"Replace Jointbox and Frame"
« on: September 28, 2015, 11:57:13 AM »

Hey guys, wasn't really sure where to put this, feel free to move if you want.

Over the past couple of months I've noticed 3 or 4 works for the above work around my area (2 were for jointboxes I know my line goes via)

Just wondering why this is done? They don't appear to be damaged, is it a case of renewing joints on the lines or anything service affecting? So far none of the renewed ones my line runs through have made a difference to my line, so I'm thinking it may just be a "maintenance" exercise rather than any kind of renewal / improvement.#

Cheers

That's probably what it is. The boxes and associated framework can become weak/corrode and obviously need attention.
