Late last night I downloaded dpc latency checker and noticed high 8000ms spikes every couple of seconds. After disabling the nic it dropped to 1000ms. I've not had a chance to game yet but I will revert to the standard Win 10 driver instead of the one from Intels website and report back in the evening.

Just had a quick go on a 64player team death match server in BF3 which those who game know it is very chaotic and it was night and day from my previous experiences. I could actually hit targets, the game was smooth and there was no jerky player animations.

Hopefully it wasn't a fluke but I play on that server regularly and the experience was totally different.

I had dpc latency monitor running whilst gaming and there are no huge spikes every couple of seconds now. Additionally uninstalling unnecessary Nvidia sound devices through HDMI helped too as I have a Asus stx pcie soundcard.
