I only just noticed, in among last week's launches, they seem to have discontinued the 5c.
Retailing at £320 in the UK, the 5c was the only iPhone I've ever been able to justify (to myself) buying new - others have come from eBay. The old 5S is now retailing cheaper than it was at (from) £380 which, whilst probably good value in spec compared to a 5c, is simply too much money IMHO for a phone that was launched nearly two years ago.
I also just
liked the 5c. The pastel colours and plastic case to me said 'fun' and 'frivolous', attributes not always associated with iPhones.
And whilst I admire the tech specs of the bigger iPhone 6 range it is not something I'd really want as my primary phone even if it were cheap, for the simple reason it won't fit in a shirt pocket.
Let's hope they have a 'surprise' replacement for the 5c, ready for launch soon?
