A litle local BT tale
« on: September 08, 2015, 07:13:09 PM »

Here it is from the on line version of a local rag. Sounds a good mix of BT, reporting and one of the subjects with whom I am acquainted, with opinions. :-X

Sounds like a slow-story week. Usual crap local rag reporting.

There seems to have been a problem with communication.  I wonder if it really is a problem with the poles near the fire and engineer safety.

Out of curiosity.. that photo taken yesterday... and the fire brigade are still there?   I'm confused.

That's the questions that need to be asked and reported on, not just the usual easy-target, sob-story crap that journo's are well known for.
The favourite journo trick being 'A spokesperson for ....... commented that ......'. Never any name given which means there's no comeback or invariably any truth in it.

A one-sided story on the series of events. Sh1te reporting at its very best.

Typical Echo, the pic was probably taken in August, and as Blacksheepsaid only used on a no news day. For other things like RTCs one often sees stock photos, nowhere near the incident.

Funny, today one of their bosses was on Today and anti the new BBC idea about joining with local rags.

Surprise, surprise! The Echo is owned by Daily Mail and General Trust, great lovers of the BBC ::) NOT!

Don't think it's the poles, but could be some refugees that could in without Cameron noticing. :o ;D
