Just seen this at www.hmv.co.uk. Complete X File dvd box set rrp. £139.99, Hmv price £59.99.There are 60 dvds.£1 a dvd seems a bargain to me.

UncleUB  ... on first glance I confused X Files with X factor, and thought  "why would ANYONE want a boxed set of that"  :lol:   ........on closer look realised what it really is  ........ it does appear to be a bargain  .....

That is somewhat cheaper than play.com... I just ordered a Tinto Brass 3 DVD set from HMV for £8.99... RRP £29.99, play.com price £23.99.  It sure pays to shop around. :)

See, this is what people are saying, cheaper more reasonably priced and it's not worth pirating at those prices.

You're right OF, when DVD's are as cheap of chips there's no need for piracy... I've recently found a few items in HMV considerably cheaper than play.com, which leads me to believe HMV have woken  up and realised they have got to compete with online prices... all the better for the consumers. :)
