DSLStats Reported errors
« on: August 29, 2015, 11:10:16 AM »

To be clear before we start I am very happy with a stable fibre connection and reasonable speeds using a Billion 8800NL router
Now that G.INP has (recently) been enabled the reported errors are minuscule
RSCorr/RS (%):             1.8720
RSUnCorr/RS (%):          0.0000
and the CRC's per hour usually sit at 2
So how significant in terms of DLM (or anything else for that matter) are the rtx_x and rtx_c graphs both of which mostly sit at under 10 with occasional spikes up to about 50
As an aside there is some external interference which only shows up on the ping graph (my neighbour gets it as well) every 2 and a bit hours

The only things DLM is interested in are errored seconds (ES) and resyncs. The various G.INP related graphs can be useful in diagnosing problems, and they give a measure of how hard G.INP is working in improving your connection, but have no significance to DLM.

No, if it continues like that you have nothing to be concerned about.

Quite a lot of us get that.   Ive noticed that mine can be worse on certain gateways, and sometimes its just under 2hrs.  I started noticing it about 2 yrs ago (when I got fttc) but Ive never had a proper explanation.   It doesnt appear to affect anything though.
