TCP timestamps
« on: August 28, 2015, 03:48:05 PM »

A recent Win NT family box can be set to default to using TCP timestamps on outgoing packets. does anyone have experience of this feature and a feel for performance?

How would one control this in *Nix ? Ditto interested in usage and perf on *Nix boxen too.

I wonder how many of the remote systems you talk to accomodate this option?
