MDWS captures a wide area event
« on: August 22, 2015, 09:30:30 PM »

Not sure if this is the correct part of the forum to post this , but a thunderstorm just rattled through our area, North west And my FEC error rate rocketed , as it was thundering .raining  and the light show in the sky
looking at the several other users of the MDWS fec levels i see the same or very similar pattern develop around the same time , Nothing much changed  stats wise , a small increase in error secs, and a very brief period of increased attainable level  minutes, snr remained static,

surprisingly throughput took a dip just after the storm had passed  and jitter seems to increase to but throughput appears to be back to normal  and jitter has /is decreasing according to pingplotter

Also in the NW.

The thunderstorm caused 2 resyncs here - one at 19:51 & the other at 21:31.
