Another strange Firefox problem
« on: August 13, 2015, 09:53:02 AM »

For some time now I have been frustrated by what happens to my bookmarks in Firefox when adding a new one by drag & drop. I have my bookmarks arranged in folders and when I drag & drop a new one into a folder in a specific position after a fe seconds I find it is moved to the last entry in the folder. So far I've not found any way to stop this happening. Does anyone else see this?

I use the "Add bookmark here" addon, and this gives the option of adding new bookmarks at the top or the bottom of the list. Afterwards, I occasionally use the "Show all bookmarks" menu option to drag bookmarks exactly where I want them.

I dont durrently use any bookmark related add-ons. I have always dragged them to where I wanted and they stayed there. Even if I manually re-order in the Show All Bookmarks they still move. Maybe I'll try an add-on.
