Author Topic: Computer to sleep.....questions re DSLStats graphs in sleep period  (Read 1863 times)

Had expected to see flat line SNRM between ~2345 and ~845, when computer was woken, but not so, as can be seen from graphs. Also in earlier graphs are some rearward pointing lines above or below the main traces.

Can someone explain, please?

In passing may I ask if it is possible for the times at the graphs' bases to be printed horizontally; they'd be easier to read.

I think Dray must be right - DSLstats wouldn't plot graphs like that unless it was getting data from the modem, and it can't do that while the computer is sleeping.

As for printing the X axis labels horizontally, I'll have a think about it.

Thanks!

The small matter of the rearward facing 'spikes' see att'd, how would they have come about? Curious!!

That's a small display bug in DSLstats, related to its behaviour when emerging from sleep.

Having thought about it, I'm sorry but I don't think I'll be doing it. With some combinations of screen size and resolution, and DSLstats window size, horizontal labels would get too cluttered.

Via command prompt the problem was related to the usb hub. I had forgotten that my mobile was on charge! I also viewed the Power Troubleshooter logs (att'd example), which shows svchost invloved too.

Mobile removed, sleep appears OK now'
