Oh, And the 2 other splitters have actualy came in use I'm using em to extend my router further but only use one port on each

I've got it up and running with a spare powerline adaptor, I can login to the HG612.

I have also changed the default IP address of the HG612

I've plugged In a spare Powerline Adaptor from the router upstairs

I can login to the HG612 ( great )

I have changed the default IP Address from 192,168.1.1 to 192.168.1.X

I have also changed the default admin pass which was admin to XXXXXXXX

But now I can't run now tests on the DSLStats?

Yes but it still keeps saying wrong IP or Password.

I assume that you changed the password via the GUI?    That is the problem. The GUI will allow you to change the password for the GUI login but it does not change the password for a telnet connection login. So now you have admin/XXXXXXXX for a GUI login and admin/admin for a telnet login.

There might be a problem at Tony's end . . . Perhaps it would be best to wait for him to respond?

make sure it's not recording when you click the check button. if it is then it will fail. Stop recording then check.

I can't see anything this end that shows anyone is unable to access the site.

Roseway may be able to make other suggestions as he wrote DSLstats. Until then:

1) Can you see the MDWS web site okay from a browser?

2) If not, can you PM me your IP address please (you can see it at the top of the Options window once logged on)

3) Are you trying to upload to MDWS from the same IP address you can view the site from i.e. same line?

4) And what is your username please (PM me if you prefer).

That error message is the result of DSLstats being unable to contact the MDWS site for some reason. It could be a malfunction within DSLstats. Try pressing the "Check now" button with the "Upload data to MyDslWebStats" option checked and then unchecked, and with recording paused and then restarted.

I managed to get it working useing the windows version, I am using LINUX but how come the Linux version doesnt work?
